FRIGATE V2 – Catch and Stash

More Height and Speed

One of the great strengths of the F-ONE FRIGATE V2 is its upwind performance.

The higher aspect ratio in conjunction with the optimized profile and additional ribs improves efficiency and allows for a higher angle to the wind. At the same time, the FRIGATE V2 accelerates more directly and achieves a higher speed.

Ultra Light Ribs – lighter and more compact

All sizes of the FRIGATE V2 feature the new Ultra Light Ribs Technology.

The construction reduces the weight of the parawing without compromising the necessary stiffness. At the same time, F-ONE uses a new, softer fabric that can be folded more compactly.

The lower weight is particularly advantageous for freefly and downwind foiling: The FRIGATE is easy to handle and takes up little space when stowed.

For the larger sizes 5.5 m² and 6.5 m², a hybrid construction is additionally used in the rear area of the canopy. There, a 20% lighter fabric is used. This allows the large parawings to stay in the air better and react more agilely even in light winds.

Revised Vertical Bar

The new vertical bar has been further developed in terms of ergonomics and control.

It offers a comfortable and intuitive grip while allowing a high maximum depower. This allows the power of the FRIGATE V2 to be effectively controlled even in increasing winds.

The 4.5, 5.5 and 6.5 m² are suitable for lighter wind conditions and offer correspondingly more power for launching and accelerating on the foil.
